MAKING THE DECISION TO BUY A DREAM HOME IS AN EXCITEMENT, BUT IT’S ONLY THE HALF BATTLE WON

SHELTERING YOUR HEAD UNDER THE PERFECT ROOF IS THE ART OF CHOICE
Home is a place that gives you unconditional love, happiness and comfort. It is the place where you can bury your sorrows and shame without guilt. To feel homely, you don’t need to the trappings of opulence. It’s the biggest investment decision of your life and will take up most of your savings. Now you need to find the property that’s the perfect fit for you, your family and guests.

Prime Hub (Future in Perspective): It is not necessary that project on main roads has location advantage; down the line, after some years it shouldn’t be the case that you realize that you have done a mistake by selecting Residential Project located on the main road because of increased traffic sound and commercial activities.  You should check for basic facilities like grocery store, schools, hospitals, public transport and the like rather, while selecting any location.

Get a hold on your temptation: Don’t go by the sample flat, it is meant to attract customers and includes several furnishings that actual flat won’t have. A sample flat is a decorative item. Therefore, don’t go by what you see and inquire about each and every aspect of the house.

Builder Reputation:  Check the history of the builder/developer as a buyer/investor. Visit old buildings constructed by the same builder, you will be in a position to decide upon the quality standard followed by the builder. Check the past history so that you can make a prediction that whether builder will provide the flat on promised possession date or not.

Features and Specifications: Features are the building facilities and specifications are related to facilities and amenities provided in the flat. Every Builder/Developer gives host of features and specifications to lure buyers. The important part in this regard is to understand which features and specifications are of real use and which are cosmetic.

Financial helping hand (Loan facility): Builders often rope in banks for hassle-free financing. Banks do a thorough check of the property, and the prospective buyer doesn’t have to go through the hassle of getting the project approved by a bank surveyor for a loan. Bank assures you of sound legal and technical credentials.

Area Calculations: there are three basic and commonly used terms which you will come across while buying any residential flat/apartment and the list includes: The Carpet Area (area within the four walls), Built up Area (area including the carpet area and area occupied by the walls), Super Built up Area (area including the carpet area, built up area and proportionate of common areas).

DIY wall painting tricks

Doing a wall painting in your home is no big deal. To perk up your pad and make it look chic, here are a few simple, yet interesting ways in which you can paint your walls.

Colourful dripping wet ink drawings can be made with coloured inks. Use a stencil to make a drawing. Now splatter inks or watered paints onto the canvas and allow the paints to dribble down. You can alternatively do it with melting crayons.

If you aren't too good at drawing, don't worry. You can paint your favourite song lyrics or movie dialogues on the wall too.

Choose colours that are interesting and will also depict your personality. For example, if you are a calm and composed person, colours like baby pink and pale blue are great options. Similarly, if you are the adventurous sort, you can always go in for darker hues like maroon or deep purple.

Other than painting your wall, you can also sketch caricatures or make simple scenes. You don't have to be a professional to do this. A rural scene or cartoon characters will also make your wall look interesting.

If you do not want a descriptive painting on your wall, you can always go in for a colour code and then have wall art done on it. For this, you can choose wall colours that will give the right feel - shades of blue and red are good options.

Ishwar Parmar Group's Hand Full of Earth

Whoa!

Thank you all for an overwhelming response on the Hands full of Earth event. 9675 visitors in 3 days! Now that is commendable, isn’t it?

Quick Flashback:
We started with an idea to experience mother nature at its best. With tribute in our hearts for the ever giving Earth we brought in Hands full of Earth. Presented by Ishwar Parmar Group and brought by Prithwe, this was one of its kind event organized on 17th, 18th and 19th April in lieu with Earth Day that is celebrated globally on 22nd April.

We decided to sponsor this event because:

1.     Our developer fraternity is usually accused of building concrete jungles that harm the nature. With this event we wanted to tell the people that we are a developer with conscience. And we take as many steps possible to preserve and save the nature.

2.     Our Ishwar Parmar Group stands on 4 Cornerstones, "The 4P's" of the group. One of these 4P's is Planet. Where we as a group are always ready to contribute towards earth.

3.     "Constructing Greatness" is not only the positioning line of the group, but also something that the entire team of Ishwar Parmar Group believes.

The Venue:
The entire event was planned and executed at Pingle Farms in Koregaon Park. The entire ambience was transformed into a small green zone. As people stepped in, they were welcomed by Ishwar Parmar Group’s serene sounds of nature inspired from the sounds that are experienced at the Ishwar Parmar homes. The mesmerizing sounds created the nostalgia of moving in a lush green forest. The visually enticing panels by Ishwar Parmar Group welcomed the visitors.

A stupendous tree, crafted by bamboo, with just the branches was placed at the event. People could write their experiences, messages and stick it on the branch, thus making it the leaves of the tree.

The logo of the group became the inspiration as at the entrance, there was a mirror that said “Have a look at yourself before you have experienced the earth" and at the exit another mirror that said “Take a look, now that you have experienced nature". This little deed boosted pride in the hearts of the visitors thus encouraging them to do their bit for Mother Nature.

There were places allocated for the workshops and activities. Catering to all the age groups the wide array of activities here included:

1.     Feel at home - The Parmar's Barefoot Park.

2.     Earth Produce

3.     Earth Science

4.     Earth Art

5.     Earth Sculptures

6.     Earth Music

7.     Earth Games

8.     Parmar’s conscious Earth Build

9.     Earth Store

10.  Earth Workshops

11.  There was music played with earthy elements, small skits blended with loads of entertainment at the venue.

The Magnanimous Response:

9675 people walked in and extended their support. Not only kids but also the adults took the opportunity to celebrate Mother Nature at its best. They enhanced their knowledge by taking active participation in the workshops, enthusiastically took part in creating masterpieces with earthy elements.

The varied expressions during the event added charm to our efforts and brought us all step closer to our planet. The event concluded by creating “Hands full of experience and awareness” towards Mother Earth, thus flourishing that long lasting bond.

Idea behind the Idea | Hands Full Of Earth

The Idea for the event

We all talk about global warming; we all share our concern about the deteriorating condition of the Earth, but how many of us actually take efforts to help the planet? Some of us lack time and direction while others lack awareness.

Do you know there are many evolutionary approaches for grounding and connecting to earth’s rhythm and resonance taking place globally?

In order to create this awareness, we are presenting the Hands full of Earth festival. This 3 day mega celebration will help us show the society a new direction and transform our relationship with planet Earth.

Understanding the concept

Due to lack of time playing in the mud, running around the trees, filling the pocket with pebbles and chasing the birds seems just like those nostalgic childhood memories. The idea of Hands full of Earth is to tingle people’s minds with small and joyful experiences.  The learning through experience lasts longer and thus we have integrated lively experiences with this event.

The Genesis of International Earth Day

As long as life,
As dear, as free,
I am the Earth
And the Earth is me.

The very first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970. This day was created by American Senator, Gaylord Nelson, to make people aware of the importance of keeping our planet healthy and clean. On that day, people made promises to help the environment and make positive changes in their community.

His holiness the Dalai Lama was invited to speak a few words by Shri Avinash Dharmadhikari on the occasion. His holiness showered his blessings and expressed how honored he was to inaugurate the ‘Temple of Knowledge’ - Chanakya Mandal. Finding Shri Avinash Dharmadhikari's views similar to his, he agreed to come and bestow his best wishes. He shared his thoughts on the teachings of the modern gurus and the traditional ones. He preached that with modern education, traditions and values should be combined and imparted. He also enlightened that “We human beings have the responsibility to gain right knowledge, holistic knowledge to build a happy world.” And “Peace must come from the inner peace.”

He highlighted that India is a very religious country and he has been termed as “Son of India” because he is physically and mentally attached to India.

His holiness also took up an interactive session with the audience. Many questions were raised, like “How should we practice meditation, and how do you meditate?”, “How are the modern gurus and schools different from traditional gurus and gurukuls?” And a question raised by one of the Directors of Ishwar Parmar Group, Mr. Anand Jain, was “Can materialism and spiritualism exist together because India like China is becoming liberal in its economy and everybody is prospering, so when everybody starts materialistically prospering greed, can we spiritually prosper in this world?” He answered all the questions and made people aware that Buddha said "Oh my followers, you should not accept my teachings because of faith but by investigating.” Also that “Meditation should be logical and not based on faith.”

(Mr. Anand Jain asking a question)

After the interactive session, Shri Avinash Dharmadhikari gave his vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude. The audience was overwhelmed to witness his holiness the Dalai Lama and to listen to him live.
